Business Development Manager

We are looking for a new colleague to join the team of Honza Hron, our business director at LinkSoft, who would enjoy developing business with existing clients and also looking for new opportunities with new clients for IT projects.

"I would like to find someone who would enjoy taking care of clients, is their partner and helps develop their business and solutions, looks for new ways, develops ideas and, thanks to this, finds opportunities for further cooperation. At the same time, someone who already has a little behind him/her - could be having been in various client positions for several years (project manager, business consultant, account manager, salesperson), able to use his/her contacts and find new collaborations (new clients), in new markets, in new areas. But all this with regard to the possibilities LinkSoft, deliverability, a meaningful price offer and that we also enjoy the project (which is quite subjective :-)). And we have to enjoy working with each other."

What do we do?

We are focused on custom development of web applications that run on a classic server or in the cloud (we like Azure and AWS), while not being focused on a specific client or user segment. It's mostly about digitizing manual processes or covering specific business needs and thus replacing license-paid "box" solutions. We solve non-standard technological projects as well as usual user systems - for example, for banks and financial companies, bookstores, the construction industry and others. We most often work within Europe (mostly in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic), but we worked also for Asia and Africa. The implemented projects include financial systems, tools for data collection from sensors, remote control of devices (IoT), B2B and B2C e-shops, website management (CMS), management of business relationships, etc.

At the same time, we are working on the development and implementation of tailor-made solutions for data management (we can build the entire data warehouse, integrate and migrate) and reporting. For reporting, we like Microsoft tools the most (Power Platform ecosystem - Power Automation, Power Apps and PowerBI). The result can be a completely new data architecture, but also a small application that will safely and user-friendly replace a complex Excel table :)

We are also able to help the client by supplementing their development and other IT capacities, or provide a consultation that can quickly add know-how and at the same time open the door for future larger projects for us.

Whom are we looking for?

There is no fixed role that is requiring a specific profile. It can be an experienced business developer, account manager, IT consultant, or project manager with a liking for the business development part of projects, but also a person with a serious interest in IT and a business spirit. We are not looking for a businessman who promises the mountains and valleys (Everests), but someone who will be a partner of our architects and project managers in the creation of technically good and, above all, useful solutions for the client.

Activities that await you daily: 

  • Monitoring trends and identifying potential new projects and clients;
  • Cooperation with architects in the design of solutions, work estimates, presentations to clients, business negotiations, coordination of implementation and presentation of Proofs-of-concept... simply presales;
  • Upsell with current clients (development, reporting, consulting, teamleasing);
  • Participation in business and project meetings;
  • Creation of case studies that would serve as inspiration for potential clients;
  • Education in the field of organization and realization of software development (.NET, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Azure, Power Platform...).What you will find with us?
